Hello one and all! Have been a little busy these last couple of weeks so I thought I'd drop by and see how everyone is doing! Some of you may know that every Wednesday I interview an author for a fun-filled moment with our readers. This week was Alex Cook (e-novilist member) and in two weeks it will be our very own Stephanie!! Can't wait! Check it out :)

I recently posted a new entry on my blog about writing.  The subject for this one will hopefully be helpful to a lot of people trying to put together some marketing plans.  If anyone has more suggestions to add to the post please do so under the comments.  We're all still learning:

The Witchy Wolf and the Wendigo   -- my latest, is now out in paperback. Here's the urban legend back story in USA Today: USA Today  And here's the blurb: What does an immortal Native American shaman do when the grave he’s sworn to watch over for all eternity disappears under urban development?
His purpose of guarding his wife’s burial mound is gone, Ashkewheteasu seeks to end his immortal existence. In his despair, Ash assumes the form of a wolf and steps in front of a moving car and into the life of Dr. Olivia “Livie” Rosalini. The veterinarian saves the animal’s life, and in the process saves the man within. Livie has no idea the wolfish dog she’s taken into her home and grows to love is a magical being seeking to win her heart as a man. While Ash is learning a new world filled with new love, friendship, and happiness, an old menace makes plans to steal it all away; just as he had 3000 years before. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFFFESI

Intriguing Rose, I like the concept you've presented to us.  This sounds like a must read story to me.

I liked your blog post, Allan.  I've got my new book on KDP Select, so I will see how it goes.  Since it is loosely based on the lives of some of my old students, I let them know about it and it created a huge buzz out there.  12000 km away from where I am people are buzzing about something I wrote.  Quite a strange feeling, I must say.
I wish you success with your book.

So much to say...good thing I'm a chatty gal! So, Allan, your blogspot was fantastic, I've tweeted, google+ and put it up on my FB page because it's basic information that all authors should know. Thank you for that.

Rose, I absolutely want to read that story :) Sounds very intriguing, I already have a million questions about it, which is a great sign!

And finally, Elmarie, what an amazing concept you had! To write about your old students? Fantastic! I wish I had had that idea myself but will have to live vicariously through your writing! Could you give me a link to your book, please?

Okay...I'm done talking. For now. :)

Eva, if you read those stories, you will soon see that I was severely traumatized due to certain events during my teaching years.  In fact, I am far from done with that concept.  I am using the writing as a kind of therapy to rid myself of the ghosts I am carrying with me from those days.  I wrote it for me and for my students.  So I wrote it in a way that should be readable for the juvenile market as well.  I believe seeing that the world is taking note of their plight, will give them a new will to get out of the 'walls' that life puts around them.  Okay, now I have been talking too much :)
